Job Location: Orlando, FL
Salary: $120K - 165K
Requirements: Experience in the Greater Orlando area working on master planned communities and urban developments. PLA License required, experience working with land survey and engineering teams.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Landscape Architect to lead our landscape architecture projects from conception to completion. This role will involve overseeing planning, design, and execution of various landscape architecture initiatives, ensuring that projects meet client specifications and are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead landscape architecture projects from initial concept through to implementation.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to define project goals and requirements.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively to ensure successful project delivery.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design decisions and project planning.
- Prepare design proposals, reports, and presentations for clients and stakeholders.
- Oversee construction management processes and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and other cutting-edge technology to produce high-quality design documents.
- Engage in community involvement and public outreach to gather input and foster support for projects.
- Review and manage engineering and construction documents throughout the project lifecycle.
- Implement green infrastructure and sustainable practices in landscape design.
Qualifications
- Current PLA (Professional Landscape Architect) license
- AICP (American Institute of Certified Planners) certification is a plus
- 7+ years of experience in landscape architecture and project management.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of planning, design, and land development principles.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex projects, including mixed-use developments, urban plazas, and parks.
